The Rhea 27 Open builds on the concept of the smaller models, offering more space and a more intuitive layout. The cockpit is inviting and modular in design, ensuring you can sit comfortably even with a larger group. The continuous, flat deck makes it easy to move about on board, even whilst fishing. The design is by Bertrand Danglade, with the naval architecture by Joubert-Nivelt.
Beneath the waterline lies a deep-V hull which, according to the yard, continues to respond predictably and safely even in rougher weather. The hull measures 7.5 metres, with an overall length of 7.9 metres including the platform and a beam of 2.8 metres. It weighs 1,350 kilograms and, at 0.4 metres, has a very modest draught, making it suitable for shallow coastal waters and sandbanks.
The outboard engine options range from 150 to 300 hp and the fuel tank holds 280 litres. In its most powerful version, the yard quotes speeds of up to 44 knots. Category C certification allows for ten people on board. This model is therefore aimed at those who wish to combine comfort, stability and a refined appearance with the ability to really make the most of it on the water.
