Full description
The boat has been designed with rough weather in mind and is also used by rescue and coastguard services in Sweden, which is a good reflection of the vessel’s character.
The hull is a deep V-shape with a deadrise of 26.5 degrees at the transom, which allows the boat to cut through the waves smoothly. The deck is designed as a flush deck, so that any water that washes over it runs straight off, keeping the boat stable. Beneath the foredeck is a small cabin with two berths. The vessel measures 8.52 metres overall, has a beam of 3.00 metres and weighs 3,370 kilograms.
The propulsion system consists of a single 300 hp Volvo Penta D4-300 diesel engine with a sterndrive. The fuel tank has a capacity of 320 litres; a 42-litre fresh water tank and a 40-litre holding tank are optional extras. The battery pack consists of two 77 ampere-hour batteries and two 80 ampere-hour batteries.
Paragon certifies the vessel as CE design category B, with a maximum of six people on board and a maximum load capacity of 645 kilograms.
