The vessel is certified to carry eight people on board and, with a hull length of just under six metres, falls into a favourable registration class in many countries.
The hull is constructed from fibreglass, built as a monocoque with a deck in sandwich construction. The model features an open layout with a walk-around deck around the console, a sun lounger on the foredeck and a bench seat behind the helm. The maximum beam is 2.49 metres, which makes road transport easier.
The propulsion system consists of a single outboard engine. NUVA recommends 115 hp and specifies 175 hp as the maximum. According to the yard, this enables the vessel to reach a top speed of 40 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots. The fuel tank has a capacity of 120 litres and the fresh water tank 48 litres.
NUVA certifies the M6 Open in CE design category C.
