Autonomy, seaworthiness and quiet running are central, with a level of comfort that, according to the yard, befits a much larger vessel.
On the main deck there is a cockpit aft with generous seating, and behind it a fully equipped galley. The flybridge offers a panoramic lounge with dining area and a helm with good all-round visibility. On the bow there is a large sunpad with seating, a peaceful spot at anchor.
The accommodation comprises three or four guest cabins. Forward is a full-beam owner's cabin with panoramic views and an en-suite bathroom. The VIP cabins are amidships on the lower deck, where motion is least and large windows let in plenty of light. Layout, fabrics and finish can be customised as desired.
The 22XP has a displacement hull and superstructure in fibreglass (GRP), with the exterior by Can Yalman. Twin 425 hp Cummins diesels are standard; the yard lists twin MAN engines as an option. The top speed is 13 knots, the cruising speed 11 knots and the range 1,200 nautical miles at 8 knots.
