That success lies in its dimensions: at 4.3 metres, the model is suitable for a wide range of yachts and uses, whilst accommodating up to seven people. Novurania itself states that this size does not compromise performance.
With a 70 hp outboard engine, the boat can reach speeds of around 69 km per hour, according to the manufacturer. At 400 kilos, its unladen weight remains close to that of the smaller DL 400, whilst the fuel tank holds 38 litres. This ensures the tender remains easy to handle on the davits. It can carry seven people, one more than the DL 400.
The equipment includes, amongst other things, a bow step with navigation lights and a cleat, a battery charger with a recessed deck socket, boarding steps, handrails on the port and starboard sides, LED deck and navigation lights, a non-slip deck and yacht-quality stainless steel cleats and railings. The hull is vacuum-moulded fibreglass with Hypalon-Neoprene tubes. The hull and deck are vacuum-moulded and feature a foam-encased stringer system.
