An electric sliding roof opens the wheelhouse to the sky, and the helm has GPS, engine monitoring and navigation instruments. At the stern is a garage with an electric door for a tender of up to 3.45 m, such as a Williams Turbojet 325. Teak on all walking surfaces is optional, with synthetic teak as a low-maintenance alternative.
The interior has three cabins and two bathrooms, or alternatively one large bathroom. The galley has a breakfast nook. The bathrooms have a walk-in shower and underfloor heating as standard, which can optionally be extended throughout the interior. According to YachtBuyer, the interior was designed by Roelfien Vos Studio.
The hull and superstructure are aluminium. The round-bilge hull is a semi-displacement hull by Vripack Naval Architects, while the exterior is by Guido de Groot Design and Mulder. The yard specifies two 340 hp Volvo Penta D6 diesel engines and a top speed of up to 22 knots. All figures depend on the chosen configuration.
The length overall is 17.80 m, the beam 4.90 m and the draught 1.20 m, with a displacement of approximately 26 tonnes half-loaded. On board are 2,860 litres of diesel and 1,150 litres of drinking water. The Favorite 1700 has CE design category A and is therefore built for seagoing use.
