About Mulder

Three generations of Dutch craftsmanship in aluminium.

Mulder Shipyard began in 1938, when Dirk Mulder built his first boats in a metalworking shop in Voorschoten. In 1984 his son Dirk Robert Mulder took over the business; since 2022 grandson Nick Mulder has run the family yard as the third generation. The headquarters and yard are in Zoeterwoude-Rijndijk, complemented since 2022 by a yard in Enkhuizen and Mulder Marina in Warmond.

Mulder is best known for the Favorite series: aluminium motor yachts with a recognisable, timeless line and semi-displacement or planing hulls from renowned design studios such as Vripack and Van Oossanen. The current range runs from the sporty Favorite 52 Motion via the Favorite 1500, 1700 and 2000 to the fast Favorite Fast and the flybridge Favorite 2200. In addition, the yard builds larger custom yachts, such as the ThirtySix.
