The yacht is 12.52 metres long and 4.20 metres wide, with a waterline length of 11.42 metres. The draught is 1.85 or 2.25 metres, depending on the keel. Sources quote a displacement of 11,200 to 11,600 kilograms, with 3,130 kilograms of ballast. The yacht was designed by Dixon Yacht Design.
The diesel engine produces 57 hp. The fuel tank has a capacity of 210 litres and the water tank 475 litres. The sail area of the mainsail and jib is 83 m²; according to the yard, the maximum sail area is 85.8 m².
The DS41 is classified as CE design category A. The vessel has two cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom – one for the owner and one for guests – both of which have natural light, and can accommodate up to four berths.
