The ballast sits beneath the floor, so the space above deck stays free for ropes, vests and boards. A ski pylon recessed into the deck rises for tubing or slalom skiing. According to Malibu, the boat fits in most standard garages and is easy to handle at the slipway.
You choose between the Wake Plus hull for surf waves and wake or the Malibu Diamond hull for all-round performance including water skiing. The ballast system holds up to 1,554 kg of water. Engine power ranges from 360 to 430 hp, from an inboard engine, with Surf Gate and Command Center.
The Ascend tower folds down with gas struts and is available with LED lighting, side tow points, swivelling board racks and a 360-degree Surf Gate signal light. Using the configurator, you choose the hull, colours and options.
The hull length is 6.53 m and the beam 2.59 m, with a draught of 0.69 m. The dry weight is around 2,268 kg and the fuel tank holds approximately 208 litres. The payload is 831 kg and a maximum of 13 people are permitted on board.
