Built for the perfect wave, from waterskiing to wakesurfing.
Malibu was founded in 1982 by Bob Alkema and Steve Marshall in Merced, California, and grew into one of the best-known names in watersports boats. Its headquarters and largest factory are now in Loudon, Tennessee; boats are also built for the local market in Albury, Australia.
The current range consists of the M series at the top end, the Wakesetter LSV and MXZ series for wakesurfing and wakeboarding, and the Crossover & Ski series, which includes the tournament waterski boat Response TXi. Distinctive features include proprietary technologies such as Surf Gate and Power Wedge. Malibu Boats Inc. has been publicly listed since 2014 and also owns brands including Axis, Cobalt and Pursuit.
