The fibreglass hull is fitted with floats tapering in diameter from 55 to 40 centimetres, distributed across four air chambers. The deck is self-draining and features a centre console with a helm, a bench in front of it and a sun deck. There are four storage compartments on board.
The propulsion system consists of a single petrol outboard engine with an L-shaft, delivering up to 97 kW or 130 hp. The boat remains trailable when inflated, making it easy to use in a variety of boating areas.
The unladen weight is 500 kilograms. The CE design category is C.
The Coaster 520 is customised for each customer; the dealer determines the upholstery, body colour and additional equipment in consultation with the customer.
