About this boat
The Enkhuizen 570 is a manoeuvrable, clinker-built fibreglass power sloop that combines the handling of the earlier Enkhuizen 500 with a more spacious interior. The power sloop is built entirely by hand in the Netherlands and, according to the yard, is unsinkable. The design is derived from an English lifeboat.

That type was widely used in the Netherlands in the early twentieth century on coasters and ferry services, and can still be seen today as a tender on luxury motor yachts.
The power sloop is manoeuvrable, holds its course well and is stable. It has a classic look, a spacious cockpit with comfortable wraparound seating and a shallow draught. Teak details in the interior are standard and the fibreglass construction is low-maintenance.
The yard lists a 12 hp Vetus diesel as standard, while the price list includes versions with a 16 hp Vetus or a 21 hp Yanmar. The 570 is also available with a 5 kW E-Line electric drive or with a hybrid drive for environmentally friendly boating with a greater range.
Key dimensions: length overall 5.50 m, beam 2.15 m, draught 0.45 m, air draft around 0.95 m, weight around 805 kg and a 25-litre fuel tank. CE design category C for up to 6 people. Like all Enkhuizensloep boats, it is built by hand to order at the yard in Enkhuizen.
