About Enkhuizensloep
Hand-built clinker power sloops and tenders from Enkhuizen, tailored to each owner
Enkhuizensloep is a family business with its own yard in Enkhuizen that has been building boats since 1991. Every boat is built by hand to order according to the customer's specifications, and the buyer has direct contact with the builders. Characteristic features are the clinker fibreglass hulls, the teak finish and the shallow draught.
The current range consists of classic power sloops (570, 640 and 780), tenders with a plumb stem and integrated swim platform (580, 630, 680 and 744) and the 744 Cruiser with cabin. Some of the designs have historical roots: the 570 is derived from an English lifeboat, the 780 from a wooden working power sloop from 1834. In addition to diesel engines, electric and hybrid propulsion is available.
