About this boat
Traditional fishing vessels used for coastal fishing off the Norwegian coast served as the inspiration for the design of the Damarin 640. The robust fan-shaped stern prevents water from entering the hull, whilst the rounded stern ensures good buoyancy. The power sloop has a clinker-built appearance and the hull ensures a comfortable ride in rough water.

The patented rudder system makes the boat exceptionally manoeuvrable and stable on any course, in any direction and in any situation.
The distinctive interior makes the 640 a truly special boat. The aft cockpit is raised to maximise floor space and provide a good view, whilst the forward cockpit is lowered to create ample headroom beneath the soft top.
This creates a double berth measuring no less than 2.30 metres in length. There is also a huge amount of storage space on board and a 40-litre built-in fridge as standard, so staying on board for longer periods is no problem.
Since 2017, the yard has also been supplying the Damarin 642. This is the same boat, but with a through-hull rudder, an integrated swim platform with a trim tab and easy access. The yard presents the 640 and the 642 as a single model on a joint page.
