The dimensions are the same as those of the conventional Futura 40: 11.40 metres overall and 3.50 metres wide. Due to the battery bank, the yacht sits lower in the water, with a draught of 0.85 metres, and weighs approximately 11,000 kilograms. A flybridge is fitted as standard, and the layout comprises three berths and two to three wet rooms with showers.
The propulsion system consists of one or two 25 kW DriveMaster motors, powered by a battery bank comprising 24 cells. The yard states that, with a single motor, the range is approximately five hours at five knots, and approximately four hours with a twin-motor configuration.
The fresh water tank holds between 200 and 335 litres and the holding tank between 80 and 200 litres. There is no fuel tank, as the drive is fully battery powered.
Cobra Yachts For this version, it is classified under CE design category C for a maximum of 10 people on board, meaning a more restricted operating area than the conventional Futura 40.
