The hull is 11.00 metres long by 3.50 metres wide and has a shallow draught of 0.75 metres, making the yacht suitable for shallow waterways and locks. The yard supplies the boat with two, three or four cabins and with one or two wet rooms, so that the same hull can be fitted out either as a couple’s boat or for a family with children. There is a choice of an open or enclosed wheelhouse, a sun deck or a flybridge with a second helm.
The propulsion system consists of an inboard engine ranging from 80 to 170 hp. The Benelux importer cites Yanmar as the supplier. With this power output, the Futura 36 is a cruiser that runs comfortably at cruising speed rather than a fast planing boat.
The tanks have variable capacities: 200 to 400 litres of drinking water, 70 to 600 litres of fuel and 80 to 200 litres of waste water, depending on the version chosen. The designer is Przemyslaw Ciesniarski.
Cobra Yachts specifies CE design category B/C for the Futura 36, with a maximum of 10 people on board.
