Tempest 50

The deep V-hull is designed to maintain speed and comfort even in rougher waters. Below deck there is a forward cabin with a bench that doubles as a double bed and a second sleeping area at the stern; together these provide four berths, plus a private toilet with a loo and washbasin. The boat is in CE design category B.

The fittings are equally impressive: teak on the bow and in the cockpit, full sets of cushions inside and out, a 230-litre deck shower, a bow thruster and electric winch, an electric hob, a 200-litre fridge drawer alongside a galley fridge, a 25-litre hot water tank, electronic steering and an audio system with ten speakers and an amplifier. A hardtop is included as standard, and there is a fold-down aft table.

The fuel tank holds 2,000 litres and the yard allows for engine power of up to 1,800 hp, distributed across outboard engines. There is room for twenty people on board. The list of optional extras includes air conditioning, an ice maker, a 3.5 kW generator, underwater lighting in the transom and a T-Top bimini with carbon fibre pylons.
