This is the most stripped-back version of the new L-series: an open working deck measuring over five metres, with a single console on board and as few obstructions as possible. Buster designed the boat for boaters who see their vessel primarily as a tool, whether for transporting building materials to the island or for a day’s fishing. The console is made entirely of aluminium and is built to withstand the harsh northern conditions for many years to come.
Behind the console, you are sheltered by a windscreen, with NFB-type cable steering that ensures a light steering feel. Standard features include lockable storage, an integrated canopy, aluminium floor and railing, a swim platform with ladder, an automatic bilge pump, navigation lights and 12V sockets. With an unladen weight of 459 kilos, towing remains straightforward.
The yard describes its handling as stable and predictable, even when heavily laden. The hull is 5.12 metres long and 1.95 metres wide, and the boat is certified to carry six people. Outboard engines ranging from 40 to 50 hp are the recommended power range, with a 25-litre fuel tank.
