About this boat
The 170 Montauk is a practical and spacious centre console boat for watersports, fishing and day trips. The centre console provides good lateral stability and a dry ride, and the boat gets onto the plane quickly even with modest power. The modified V bow ensures a soft ride through the waves.

Thanks to the wide hull there is plenty of room for people and gear, while the shallow draught keeps shallow water within reach. The controls are within easy reach on the console. Forward is a storage and anchor locker, and there is an optional rear seat that you can convert into a lounging area, with loose cushions for the aft corners.
On the console you will find an acrylic windscreen, a switch panel with fuses, a Mercury control box, a 12V socket and a lockable storage compartment. The reversible helm seat has a locking backrest and storage space. At the stern is a swim platform with grab handle and telescopic swim ladder.
The 94.6-litre fixed fuel tank is built in. As standard, a 90 hp Mercury four-stroke is fitted at the stern, with hydraulic steering, SmartCraft digital gauges, two bilge pumps and a stainless steel propeller; the maximum is 115 hp. A galvanised trailer with swing tongue and disc brakes is included in the package.
The 170 Montauk measures 5.28 m overall with a beam of 2.21 m and a draught of 0.30 m. The dry weight without engine is 771 kg, seven people may be carried and the air draft without canopy is 1.49 m. The deadrise at the transom is 16 degrees.
