The Oceanis 30.1 is easy to sail yet responsive at the helm, and promises new experiences on the water. This robust, small smart cruiser is compact enough to be transported on a trailer, offering endless possibilities for sailing on lakes and rivers, as well as for trips along the coast and at sea. The Finot-Conq design combines a sleek bow with optimised weight and a large square mainsail, delivering good performance on any tack. Beginners or solo sailors need only a self-tacking jib and a single winch, whilst performance-oriented sailors can opt for a large overlapping genoa, a furling Code Zero and an asymmetrical spinnaker.
Thanks to a clever design, a headroom of 1.98 metres has been achieved on board. Two spacious double cabins with berths running the length of the boat create an open, airy feel, and the benches in the cabin can be converted into extra berths for two people. The spacious shower room is separate from the toilet, and the galley – accessed via a flight of four steps at an angle of 43 degrees – features an L-shaped layout with storage space, a 75-litre fridge and a proper oven beneath the gas hob.
An optional lifting keel and swivelling mast make it possible to sail under bridges and through canals. At the helm, you can choose between a tiller with twin rudders, for those who prefer a sporty, dinghy-style steering experience, or a twin-wheel setup for more space and comfort in the cockpit, where a fold-away table and wide benches can accommodate six guests. The Seanapps app, via an on-board unit, monitors battery levels, fuel and water supplies, and the maintenance schedule, and helps with route planning.
