The draught is 1.25 metres, which means the vessel can also be used on shallower inland waterways. A notable feature is its CE design category A: this steel yacht is certified for ocean conditions whilst also being ideally suited to canals and rivers. Aquanaut has been building this model in Sneek since 2020.
The abbreviations in the name describe the layout. AC stands for aft cabin, PH for pilothouse. So you get a separate sleeping cabin at the stern and a raised, enclosed helm with good all-round visibility. This combination is particularly pleasant outside the peak season, when you want to cruise in dry, sheltered conditions without losing your connection with the water.
Below deck there are two guest cabins and two bathrooms, with space for four people. The Volvo D3 delivers 150 hp, which is more than enough for the leisurely pace of a cruising hull. With 1,200 litres of fuel and 800 litres of water on board, you can go a long way between refuelling stops. Aquanaut builds semi-custom boats, so the final layout and fittings are determined in consultation with the yard.
