Whereas the aft cabin version sacrifices the stern to accommodate a second cabin, this model retains a spacious open cockpit in that area, with a draught of just 1.10 metres.
The engine is a 148 hp Perkins M150Ti. With a weight of approximately 16 tonnes, this delivers a cruising speed of around 7 knots and a top speed of around 9 knots – typical figures for a displacement hull. Fuel and water are each stored in 500-litre tanks. The vessel can accommodate four people.
Please note that, according to the yacht database consulted, this model is no longer in production. Anyone looking for this version is therefore most likely to find it on the second-hand market, where Aquanaut has traditionally been well represented. However, the steel hull and the simple, robust design ensure that existing examples generally last a long time and retain their value reasonably well.
