Thanks to the hull design, the boat glides smoothly through the waves and fuel consumption remains reasonable. Combined with the large fuel tank, this results in a generous range. AMT recommends an engine of between 80 and 115 hp. Even with just 100 hp, the top speed is close to 40 knots.
The open deck area is larger than on many other bowriders in the same size class. The standard equipment is comprehensive and there is plenty of storage space. The storage compartments use Abloy’s single-key system, so belongings can be left on board.
As well as the compulsory boating equipment, AMT also supplies the seat cushions, the rear cover and a storage compartment for the cover. The boat is also fitted with the Securmark anti-theft marking. The design is based on the company’s own ‘Safely to Shore’ principle, whereby the deck keeps the boat afloat should the hull take on water in the event of a collision.
The 190 BR measures 5.60 by 2.26 metres and weighs 700 kilograms when empty. The boat is certified to carry seven people and has a glass windscreen.
