About Linder
Swedish aluminium boats: light, strong and maintenance-free.
Linder started out in an old chicken coop, where Lars-Göran Linder built the first boats in 1966, at that time still made of plastic. He recognised the advantages of aluminium early on: it is light, strong and maintenance-free. In 1981 came the Inkas canoe, the first step towards aluminium, followed shortly afterwards by the Fishing 410.
The family-run business is based in Tingsryd in Småland and manufactures its products in its own factory. Thanks to a special stretch-forming technique, the hull consists of just three sections. Today, at least 60 per cent of the boats and canoes are made from recycled aluminium.
