Open 4.8

On board there is room to move freely and seating for up to six people: a bench with a tilting backrest, a console seat and a side seat. There is double storage under the console, storage under the bench, a lockable anchor locker and a bow cushion on a storage compartment.

The deep-V hull is made of fibreglass and is combined with a removable tube in neoprene/Hypalon or PVC/Strongan, with five air chambers. The boat is built for a single outboard engine of up to 80 hp. A portable 46-litre plastic tank is available.

Standard equipment includes a fibreglass bow roller, a 165 mm rubbing strake, two USB sockets, two cup holders, navigation lights, mechanical steering and a windscreen with a grab rail. Options include a bimini, a roll bar, a Fusion audio system and EVA deck covering.

The Open 4.8 has a length overall of 4.70 m and a beam of 2.05 m. The boat weighs 305 kg and may carry a maximum of 6 people in CE design category C. The maximum power is 80 hp. The interior length is 2.92 m and the tube has a diameter of 0.50 m.
