The Zar 79 SL is part of the Sport Luxury series and, according to the yard, combines excellent seagoing qualities with ample interior space in a sleekly designed hull. It is an open boat with a twin console, measuring 7.90 by 2.86 metres, and certified to carry fourteen people. Zar Formenti explicitly highlights nearly forty years of boat-building experience and emphasises sturdiness, quality and durability.
The layout comprises a forward helm station with twin helm seats and a social area aft. There are sleeping areas fore and aft and a cabin with a galley and sink, with a toilet available as an option. Standard features include hydraulic power steering, navigation lights, an electric bilge pump, an outdoor shower, electric refrigeration and two fibreglass swim platforms, one of which has a telescopic ladder.
The hull and trim are available in Zar’s custom colours. Optional extras include an electric windlass, a radar arch, various bimini top designs, a wakeboard set and a Flexiteek 2G deck. The tubes have six watertight compartments and the boat is CE-certified in design category C. The recommended engine power is between 150 and 250 hp, with a maximum of 300 hp.
