49 SL

The Zar 49 SL launched Zar Formenti’s Sport Luxury range and stands out above all for its design. The yard describes it as featuring lines of light, unexpected angles and sculpted surfaces that together create a harmonious whole. At 4.90 metres in length, it remains a small boat, whilst the internal dimensions of 4.90 by 1.74 metres and its capacity for nine people are more typical of a larger model.

The deck is centred around a two-person steering console with tilt-adjustable mechanical steering and a steering seat from which you can steer whilst seated or half-standing. There is also an anchor locker, forward storage compartments, a side console seat and ample storage at the rear. Fitted as standard are six stainless steel safety handles, four cleats, three eye bolts, a folding aft ladder, double fender, a repair kit, a pump and paddles.

Optionally, you can fit the boat with a fuel tank, a pressurised fresh-water system with shower, a stainless-steel radar arch with navigation lights and horn, a searchlight, a mount for an auxiliary engine and a bilge pump. The tubes have six compartments and measure 49 centimetres. The unladen weight is around 450 kilograms; the recommended engine power is 60 to 70 hp, with a maximum of 100 hp. CE design category C.
