The propulsion system consists of a 1,049 cc, 3-cylinder, four-stroke TR-1 Yamaha Marine engine with a water jet drive. The fuel tank has a capacity of 50 litres.
Yamaha states that the vehicle can carry between 1 and 2 people. A CE category does not apply to personal watercraft.
According to Yamaha, the hull is made from SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound).
