The overall length is 7.00 metres, with a waterline length of 6.90 metres and a beam of 2.50 metres. The draught is 1.55 metres. The vessel weighs 1,150 kilograms with 650 kilograms of ballast, representing a ballast ratio of 56.5 per cent, which gives the boat considerable sailing power whilst remaining manoeuvrable.
The hull is constructed from timber with epoxy and, where necessary, reinforced with glass fibre, carbon fibre, aramid or composite materials. The sail plan comprises a 20.15 square metre mainsail and a 12.25 square metre genoa, totalling 32.4 square metres upwind, with a 44-square-metre spinnaker and a 50-square-metre gennaker for 82.4 square metres downwind.
The hull dimensions are the same as those of the 700 CR from the Cruiser Line.
