About this boat
The BeachClub 660 Convertible is the larger model in the BeachClub line from Van der Valk Shipyard and, according to the yard, has the most spacious interior in its class. The yacht is built semi-custom in Waalwijk.
As on the BeachClub 600, the engine room is located aft, under the swim platform. This patented concept keeps noise levels on board low and frees up space for a large beach club with an aft terrace. A garage for a five-person tender is optional and the foredeck layout can be configured as desired.
The yacht is available with three or four cabins, six to eight berths and two or three bathrooms, plus a crew cabin. The owner's cabin accommodates a king-size bed and the bathroom has panoramic views. There is also a large galley with an American-style fridge and a day toilet for guests.
The hull and superstructure are aluminium, with a patented hard-chine hull with a moderate V-shape by Ginton Naval Architects which, according to the yard, remains comfortable in 4-metre waves. Design and interior are by Cor D. Rover. Twin Volvo Penta D13 diesels with IPS-1350 drives give a cruising speed of around 30 knots and a top speed of around 37 knots.
