About this boat
The Dutchman Explorer 8 is the largest yacht in the yard’s range. With an overall length of 24 metres and five cabins, the vessel is designed for worldwide cruising with guests and, if required, a permanent crew. The steel round-bilge hull is 6.80 metres wide with a draught of 1.80 metres.

The layout comprises five cabins and four bathrooms, spread across a separate cabin deck.
The propulsion system consists of two diesel engines producing 400 hp at 1,800 rpm. The top speed is 12 knots, and the cruising speed is 9 knots. With 18,000 litres of fuel, the vessel can cover 4,000 nautical miles at economical speed.
The fresh water tank has a capacity of 4,000 litres and the holding tank 850 litres. A hydraulic bow thruster is included as standard. The vessel is CE-certified in Category A.
