About Sturiër Yachts

Steel long-distance yachts from a Frisian family-run shipyard.

Sturier Yachts is the brand name of the Volharding yard in Stavoren. The yard dates back to 1795 and initially built wooden ships. In 1918, Auke van der Werff introduced steel construction there. The company is still owned by the same family and specialises in steel motor yachts designed for long-distance cruising.

Under the Sturier brand, the range includes the OC series – comprising the 520, 565 and 620 OC – and the Classics series – comprising the 555 CS Mark II and 675 CS. In addition, the yard produces the Dutchman brand, featuring the Long Range models 52 and 56 and the Explorer series. Each vessel is completed in consultation with the owner.
