The hull is made of steel and has a beam of 5.50 metres, with a draught of 1.50 metres. The layout comprises three cabins and two bathrooms, including a day toilet. The interior design is tailored to each vessel.
Two Volvo Penta D6 engines, each producing 300 hp, form the standard propulsion system; they are inboard units running on diesel. This power output is tailored to the displacement hull design and to economical long-distance cruising.
With 6,000 litres of fuel on board, the range is considerable. The drinking water tank holds 1,500 litres. The displacement at half load is 46 tonnes and the yacht falls within CE design category A.
The Enigma 59 is built to order in Meppel, with a layout determined by each client.
