The specially designed hull features two enclosed keels that protect the propeller shaft and propeller. This enables the vessel to cruise safely under its own power or manoeuvre in shallow water. The saloon has windows all round. Its dimensions are 14.95 by 4.50 metres, with a draught of 1.30 metres and an air draft of 3.35 metres.
The propulsion system consists of two inboard Yanmar engines with a combined output of 400 hp. The fuel tank holds approximately 1,850 litres, the water tank approximately 800 litres and the holding tank approximately 210 litres.
The vessel weighs approximately 22,800 kg and has CE design category B.
The Slingshot is listed under ‘custom-built’ at Smelne; the layout and finish are determined on a case-by-case basis.
