In the enclosed version, the third deck is divided in two. At the front is an enclosed area of approximately 18 m² with bar, second galley and dining table with 360-degree views; at the rear an open terrace of 32 m² with lounge. Alternatively, the enclosed section can be fitted out as an owner's suite with its own bathroom.
The main deck houses the saloon and the galley, with an exit to the foredeck or, alternatively, a full-beam owner's cabin forward. Below deck there are four to six cabins plus crew quarters. Aft there is storage for water sports equipment and small tenders, and the boat makes its own drinking water.
The Silent 62 runs on solar power: a solar panel installation of approximately 16 kWp supplies an average of around 100 kWh per day to the battery bank, which powers two electric motors. A diesel generator serves as a range extender and only starts when the batteries are empty. The cruising speed is around 6 to 8 knots.
Key dimensions: length overall 18.88 m, beam 8.99 m, draught 1.24 m and a displacement of 34 tonnes. The catamaran is built at the Silent-Yachts yard in Fano, Italy, and is also available as a 3-Deck with open sky lounge or as a flybridge version.
