With the Fly47, Sessa Marine has taken a step up from the Fly42. The yacht measures 14.27 metres by 4.39 metres and is presented by the yard as an advanced open-deck yacht concept within the Flybridge range, rather than as a classic sports bridge yacht. The hull is made of fibreglass and the layout is designed with liveability in mind, featuring a light and airy saloon and a spacious, ergonomically laid-out galley.
The most striking feature is the flybridge itself, which covers more than twenty square metres and comfortably accommodates eight to ten people. This shifts the yacht’s centre of gravity outwards, to where you dine, cruise and spend your days. Below deck there are three cabins with en-suite bathrooms and separate shower cubicles, accommodating six guests.
The accommodation comprises an owner’s cabin with en-suite facilities and two cabins with twin beds that share a bathroom, plus a day toilet. A total of twelve people can be accommodated. The propulsion system comprises two Volvo Penta D6-IPS600 pods, each producing 440 hp, with a fuel capacity of 1,272 litres and a water tank of approximately 560 litres.
