The Fly42 is the entry-level model in Sessa Marine’s Flybridge range and, according to the yard, the result of over fifty years’ experience in international markets. The yacht measures 13.1 metres by 3.91 metres, has a fibreglass hull and superstructure, and a planing hull form. Sessa caters to boaters who want to enjoy every moment of the journey rather than simply arriving as quickly as possible.
The flybridge provides the yacht with a second open-air deck, featuring its own helm station and seating area above the enclosed saloon. This allows you to spread your guests across several areas on board. Below deck there are two cabins for up to four guests, comprising an owner’s cabin with en-suite facilities and a second cabin with twin beds.
A total of twelve people can be carried. The standard power setup consists of two Volvo Penta IPS500 pods, each producing 370 hp, with a fuel capacity of 980 litres. This makes the Fly42 ideal for weekend getaways and longer Mediterranean-style coastal cruises, with the flybridge being the key distinguishing feature compared to the similarly sized C42.
