The C44 is a 13.85-metre Italian open sports yacht with a planing hull designed for coastal cruising from port to port. Sessa Marine is specifically designed for owners who cruise the boat themselves: the pod drive offers predictable handling, and with the optional joystick, mooring and manoeuvring in harbour remain straightforward even for less experienced skippers.
Two cockpit layouts are available. The first focuses on the living area, with elongated benches forming two separate seating areas – one sheltered beneath the hardtop and one in the open sun. The second makes way for a tender garage with a sun lounger above it. Both variants feature a fully-fledged wet bar, and a hydraulic swim platform with a lifting capacity of 600 kilograms is available as an option.
Below deck there are two double cabins. The owner’s cabin spans the full beam of the boat, has an en-suite bathroom and hull windows that let in plenty of natural light. The forward guest cabin can be converted from two single beds to a double bed and also has access to its own bathroom facilities. The hardtop is electrically operated with a retractable roof. Standard specification includes two Volvo Penta IPS500 units, each producing 370 hp; optional IPS600 units, each producing 435 hp.
