The inverted bow and clean lines remain, but according to the yard, the outboard engines provide rapid acceleration and an immediate response to trim adjustments. With a total power output of up to around 900 hp, speeds of up to 50 knots are possible, whilst the V-hull continues to provide support and stability even in choppy seas.
The walkaround deck is all on one level and is centred around a modular central cockpit that converts from a dining table for six to eight people into a large sun lounger. A fixed carbon fibre T-top with an integrated electric bimini provides shade; forward there is a sun lounger for three people, whilst aft there are benches facing each other with a folding table. An outdoor galley completes the layout.
As standard, the P38R features a double cabin and a bathroom with a separate shower; a second cabin with two single beds at the rear is available as an option. Carefully selected woods and understated furnishings give the interior a tranquil feel, perfect for day trips and long weekends. The boat is used both for outings with family and friends and as a luxurious tender for a larger yacht.
