Full description
The hull is 7.70 metres long and 2.65 metres wide, with a draught of 0.65 metres. The boat is constructed from fibreglass and is based on the pilot boat hull designed by Mulder and Rijke. The air draft is 1.55 metres. The layout provides two to three berths and a large self-draining cockpit.
The engine is a three-cylinder in-board diesel with a power output ranging from 27 hp to a maximum of 45 hp. The top speed is 18 knots. For this hull, the yard also supplies a diesel-electric powertrain, whereby the diesel engine can charge the batteries so that the boat can be operated on battery power in quiet zones.
The Workboat 770 is certified under CE design category C. According to a test report, its weight is approximately 2,200 kilograms.
