The air draft is 1.89 metres. The cabin floor is flat, which is possible because an engine compartment is not required for engines up to 42 hp. There are two to four berths.
The engine is a three-cylinder in-line diesel engine with power outputs ranging from 27 hp to 45 hp. A diesel-electric powertrain is also available here, with power outputs up to 45 hp.
The Pilot 800 is certified to CE design category C.
