The fibreglass hull is fitted with floats ranging in diameter from 61 to 42 centimetres, distributed across six air chambers. The interior space measures 6.90 by 2.00 metres. The model has no cabin; the layout is completely open-plan, with a sun deck, centre console and a seating area at the rear.
The propulsion system consists of one or two petrol outboard engines, with a maximum power output of 450 hp. The transom is designed to accommodate either a single engine with an XXL shaft or two engines with XL shafts. The fuel tank holds 350 litres and the water tank 60 litres.
The kerb weight is 1,400 kilograms. The CE design category is B, making this the smallest NJ model permitted to travel further out to sea.
