Novurania describes the model as suitable for transporting people, equipment and cargo, on the water, on the beach and along the quay. According to the yard, with a 250 hp outboard engine, the boat reaches a speed of around 79 km per hour, whilst with the Yanmar 4LV diesel engine, the speed is around 66 km per hour.
The wide 2.6-metre hull design provides a flat, spacious working deck that can accommodate ten people. The twin hydraulic bow ramps make landing on a beach easy. Standard features include a self-draining deck, three bilge pumps, a battery charger, boarding steps, EVA foam flooring, a fresh-water system with deck washdown, LED lighting, carbon console panels and twin batteries.
Measuring 7.3 metres in length, the CAT 24 weighs approximately 1,600 kilograms in the outboard version and approximately 1,950 kilograms with an inboard engine. The fuel tank holds 197 litres and the overall height is limited to 1.70 metres. Yacht-grade stainless steel fittings are part of the standard finish. The hull and deck are vacuum-bagged, and the tubes are made from Novurania Hypalon-Neoprene. The difference in weight between the two engine versions is a factor to bear in mind when choosing your davits.
