The design emphasises a stern-mounted wheelhouse layout, which is described as unrivalled in terms of comfort and views of the sea. The long foredeck offers space for tenders of up to 20 feet. The interior volume is considerable: the saloon and galley are 36 feet long, and the combination of wheelhouse, captain’s cabin and sky lounge spans almost 30 feet.
The layout comprises a cabin with a full beam, including a master cabin with an en-suite bathroom, three guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms, plus crew quarters and a laundry room. The boat was built using conventional fibreglass with sturdy mouldings, female moulds, a gelcoat finish and Alexseal paint.
Two MTU engines from the Series 60, each with an output of 600 hp, provide a transatlantic cruising speed of 10 knots. With 7,000 gallons of fuel, the ship has a range of approximately 4,000 miles at lower speeds.
Standard equipment includes 20-square-foot stabilisers, 50 hp bow and stern thrusters, two Onan generators, water-cooled air conditioning, a 2,000 GPD watermaker and a jacuzzi on deck.
