With a draught of just 29 centimetres, the boat is suitable for shallow creeks and riverbanks, and its light weight makes it trailable.
Micore recommends an outboard engine of 50 to 80 hp. The 25-litre fuel tank is designed for day trips. The boat is approved to carry five people.
The yard revised the model and reduced the price to make it an attractive boat package. This makes the 48sc one of the best-value console boats in its class.
Standard equipment includes a rear bench seat with cushions, cable steering, a swimming ladder, a fire extinguisher, bow and stern lights, an automatic and a manual bilge pump, an acid-resistant transom plate, a cockpit cover, a self-draining cockpit, a mobile phone holder, an illuminated logo on the cockpit, a Class 3 towing eye, a USB socket, a 12V socket and Securmark anti-theft marking.
