Full description
The hull is 13.45 m long and 4.25 m wide and features a long, continuous keel that tapers into a substantial centreboard. This provides stability and better control when steering, whilst the wide rudder blade enhances manoeuvrability. The draught is 1.60 m and the headroom inside is 2.05 m. The vessel accommodates four to six berths.
The vessel is powered by a built-in Yanmar 4JH4-MHTE engine producing 110 hp. The fuel tank holds 700 litres and the water tank 380 litres. In addition, the vessel has a sail area of 45 m², enabling it to sail under sail without using the engine.
The displacement is 14.6 tonnes with 3,500 kg of ballast. The CE design category is B, meaning the yacht is certified for inland waterways, major rivers and sheltered coastal waters.
Jachtwerf Oost builds the Oostvaarders to order, with the layout being finalised in consultation with the client.
