The yard firmly believes that everyone deserves the chance to experience the joy of boating, regardless of any physical limitations they may face. That is why the 545 SCA was designed, in collaboration with the keen boater Heikki Konttinen of the Finnish company Eseko Oy. Accessibility and ease of operation were central to the design, and the robustly built ‘Faster 545’ provided the perfect starting point.
The hull is hand-crafted from durable, seawater-resistant aluminium and built to withstand heavy use. This means the boat can be moored without any problems on rocky shores, sandy beaches and alongside jetties.
The hydraulically operated bow ramp has been slightly modified for the SCA version to ensure the best possible access for wheelchair users. This makes mooring straightforward and allows passengers to board effortlessly from the jetty or the beach via the boat’s own ramp.
The 545 SCA shares the same dimensions as the other 545 models: 5.45 by 2.10 metres, a dry weight of 750 kilograms and a 100-litre fuel tank. The boat is certified to carry eight people and is fitted with an engine ranging from 80 to 100 hp.
