With a length overall of 11.40 metres, a beam of 3.50 metres and a draught of 0.75 metres, the boat is well suited to inland waters. The layout comprises two or three sleeping cabins and two or three wet rooms, meaning the Futura 40 offers significantly more privacy than the smaller model.
The propulsion system consists of an inboard engine ranging from 80 to 170 hp. Here too, the hull is a displacement hull designed for a leisurely cruising speed, not for planing.
Tank capacities range from 200 to 400 litres of drinking water, 70 to 600 litres of fuel and 80 to 200 litres of waste water, depending on the chosen configuration.
The yard specifies CE design category B/C for a maximum of 10 people on board.
