The layout features an open forward cockpit, a helm with wide seats and a rear seating area that can be converted into a sun deck. With sterndrive, the draught is 0.6 metres when raised and 1.1 metres when lowered. The aft deadrise is 20 degrees.

There is a choice of two drive systems. With sterndrive, Chris-Craft offers Mercury V8 engines of 6.2 and 8.2 litres with 350, 380 or 430 hp, and Volvo V8 engines of 5.3 and 6.2 litres with the same power outputs; the maximum is 430 hp. With an outboard engine, there is a choice of a Mercury V10 producing 350 or 400 hp, with 400 hp as the maximum. The outboard version has an overall length of 9.3 metres and a hull length of 8.8 metres.

The fuel tank has a capacity of 352 litres and the fresh water tank 61 litres. The dry weight is 3,162 kilograms with sterndrive and 3,112 kilograms with an outboard engine. The boat can carry twelve people.
