Buster sees it as a boat for short crossings and, perhaps above all, as a first motor boat for younger family members. Measuring 3.88 by 1.49 metres and weighing 119 kilos when empty, it fits behind almost any car on a trailer.
The standard fit-out remains practical: cable steering, a steering console and three benches at the front, centre and rear, set on a composite floor. Optional extras include a windscreen for extra shelter and a mooring cover. The patented EasyBail system drains rainwater, which keeps maintenance simple and is a real benefit for a boat that is often left unattended at the jetty.
According to the yard, the aluminium hull is virtually maintenance-free and can be left at its berth without any worries. The design is unsinkable and the boat is certified to carry three people. The recommended engine power range is 6 to 10 hp, with Buster itself specifying a 9.9 hp Yamaha. According to the yard, the main aim of this model is to ensure that having fun on the water doesn’t have to cost a fortune.
